About us
After almost 25 years of successful Irish Wolfhound breeding in the DWZRV, in 2021 I decided to breed in the IWC (Irish Wolfhound Club Germany). The IWC only looks after the Irish Wolfhound breed.

A little review.
In 1997 I became a member of the DWZRV and on September 19th, 2000 our first IW litter was born. With the acquisition of a show grayhound, going back to the valuable bloodlines of the Knauber family and bred by Mr. Renner, I stumbled into the exhibition system. Of course I had support from the Knauber family, who at the time provided me with valuable types for exhibition and breeding. Thank you again for this. In 2000 the first Irish Wolfhound moved in with us. I quickly realized that it is very difficult to acquire a correct dog. The result was to breed a beautiful, correct Irish Wolfhound yourself. My husband (long-time Doberman breeder and trainer) was a great help to me, he had a trained eye for correct dogs and of course also mastered the basic principles of dog breeding. The exhibitions serve to face the competition of different judges from home and abroad in order to experience the quality of his dogs. So it happened more and more often that I was placed at the very front with my dogs. The success of our dogs at shows shows us that I was on the right track. After looking through my documents, I once counted the championships we had achieved, what dogs have won from my Dahmrak's Kennel. So far there are around 300 registrable titles that are entered in the pedigree. Among them are world winners, European, federal, association winners, youth winners, VDH / DWZRV, IWC club winners, racing winners, winners for beauty and performance, European winners, national winners, winners Donaueschingen, plus titles for our dogs in America, Mexico and Canada and have won many European countries. At this point I would like to thank everyone who made their males available to us for breeding. Especially with Mr. Jürgen Rössner Zwinger from the Oelmühle, who always provided us with his top stud dogs. At this point many thanks again to Mr. Jürgen Rösner, in memory of Mr. Jürgen Papenfuß and all breeding judges who made this success possible for us.

Our love for the Greyhound began in 1995 with a Greyhound. Two years later, in 1997, our first IW employee took over Isis and shortly thereafter Alysha.
In Alyshas second litter we had the jackpot with her daughter Dahmraks Fancy Price ""Juniorworldwinner 2003"".
We know that a good motherline is the key for success, the fatherline is only the point of melodiousness.
The basic of our breeding programm is the classic way of linebreeding.
Our showresults give us the certify that we are on the right way.
Importend for a breeder is that he knows the faults of his own dogs to find the right partner for breeding.
Dahmraks Irish Wolfhounds can now be found in over 30 countries and have also had a positive influence on the respective national breeds there.

Alysha von der kleinen Birke Isis von der Saalmühle

Alysha was very successful on shows, she wons several titels including the German Championship. Our secound Irish Wolfhoundlady was Isis. This is the motherline from Dahmraks Gipsy Queen, Kidney, Komptesse and Rheevagh. All this dogs were very successful on shows several times.
Our farm covers 2 hectares in a completely secluded location, on which our dogs can move freely.
In its original form, the Irish Wolfhound became almost extinct about 150 years ago with the Deerhound and the few remaining Wolfhounds brought back to life. In its current form it corresponds to a pleasant, very child-loving contemporary who is the ideal companion for man and horse. Our farm lies in a beautiful valley 800 Meter away from the next village.
